Friends of Solana Beach Library: Poetry and Collage Art

The Solana Beach Friends of the Library invites all to attend our evening of "Poetry and Collage Art" on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 from 5:30-6:45 PM.

Together the pull of words and images brings your creative spirit to a new level. This art form combines the magic of visual collage with the thrill of written words, resulting in a unique and personalized creation. Turn a blank canvas into a masterpiece and you bring together pictures and inspiring words.

Led by Local published poet, Annette Friends, and local artist, Judy Langhoff, the evening includes finding your poet within and expressing it in collage artwork. Write a short poem in collaboration with local creative guides and follow your poetic instincts. The event includes poetry and art workshop with acrostic and haiku forms.

Come jump into spring with this fun and creative evening. This free event is geared for adults and families with children aged 6+.
