Love Your Library
Calling all book lovers! Please join the Friends of the Library at Solana Beach, Cardiff, Encinitas and Rancho Santa Fe in the 3rd annual Coast and Ranch Book Crawl from February 7-14, 2026. Participating in the Coast and Ranch Book Crawl is a great way to explore these wonderful used bookstores and support your local libraries! Discover what makes each store so unique and special. From timeless classics to contemporary bestsellers, there's something for every avid reader, collector, or casual book enthusiast.
On Saturday, February 7th, join us at the Solana Beach Library from 11am - 12:30 for the "Love Your Library" event and additional fun activities. Create your own masterpiece with a guided painting class while supplies last and enjoy a children’s musical performance. The Solana Beach Library is located at 157 Stevens Ave, Solana Beach, CA and open from 10 AM to 4 PM.
During the week of February 7-14, 2026, each bookstore will offer specials to book crawl participants. All participants who submit completed book crawl passports from each of the four participating Friends of the Library bookstores will be entered into a drawing for great prizes.
Book Crawl passports can be picked up at any of these participating bookstores:

All are nonprofit organizations, staffed by volunteers and proceeds support local libraries.
